Slim Caddy is a bit different from your conventional golf bag. Most golf bags have an inflexible top frame, which means that they take up the same amount of space when stored. But Slim Caddy is designed so that both of its structures fold in different directions.
The collapsible top frame shrinks in the x axis, causing the bag’s width to decrease roughly 40% in size (8 in → 4.8 in/20.7 cm → 12.3 cm) This lets you save space when storing Slim Caddy in your trunk, locker, or anywhere in your home.
At the same time, the leg stands fold vertically to significantly reduce the bag’s height. When the legs are folded, Slim Caddy goes from 33 in to 14.7 in (86 cm to 37.3 cm) for a total height reduction of 56%. The combined storage savings from the foldable legs and top frame are what makes Slim Caddy truly different from other bags.
Then, when you’re out on the green, just stand the legs up again to return Slim Caddy to its original size. The top frame will also restore to its original size, and with the tripod-support from the legs, your golf bag has a stable structure to stand on. Slim Caddy began with a clear engineering goal: to create a fully functional sunday bag that dramatically reduces storage size without sacrificing stability. Traditional golf bags—even lightweight ones—maintain their full height even when stored, making them inconvenient to pack in a car trunk, locker, or travel bag. Rather than simply shrinking an existing design, we re-engineered the sunday bag architecture from the ground up to make true compact storage possible.
Reducing the height of a golf bag presents significant structural challenges. The bag must maintain proper center-of-gravity balance, preserve the precise stand-leg angle needed for stability, and prevent twisting or structural flex when clubs are inside. A simple folding mechanism wasn’t enough. To achieve a reliable solution, the entire internal structure had to be redesigned so that the bag would remain stable and functional when deployed.
After multiple prototype iterations, we developed a refined folding structure that balances compact storage with real on-course performance. The final design allows Slim Caddy to expand to a full operating height of 34 in, then collapse down to just 14 in for storage, reducing overall volume by approximately 75% while maintaining dependable stand stability. This unique folding architecture is now protected under patent, forming the core innovation behind Slim Caddy.
