For the non knife geeks out there - A KNIFE TANG is the part of the blade that extends into the handle, helping hold the knife together and adding strength. A FULL TANG makes the knife much stronger and overall higher quality, it’s definitely a good thing!

Beech and wood fiber cutting boards are naturally antibacterial because their fine, dense grain absorbs  and traps bacteria, which then die off as the board dries. Natural tannins in beech also help kill bacteria like e.coli and listeria much faster than on plastic surfaces

The FULL WINDSOR team brings over two decades of hands-on experience in designing and manufacturing innovative products. We’ve been at it since 2011, when FULL WINDSOR was founded. Our founder, Mark Windsor, has spent the past 20 years bringing new ideas to life as a product designer, including stints at some of the world’s top design firms.

We’ve launched six successful Kickstarter campaigns over the years — from our award-winning Magware Cutlery in 2019 to the Muncher and Splitter Multi-Utensils in 2017/2018, and most recently, our Magware Bowls and Plates in 2023. Magware has gone on to win a Red Dot Award, Outside Magazine’s ‘Gear of the Year,’ and is now stocked by leading retailers like REI, among many others.
