The original JOAT — a multifunctional titanium EDC tool — launched on Kickstarter on March 5, 2024.

With its practical all-in-one design and premium titanium construction, it quickly gained recognition among EDC enthusiasts worldwide. More than 700 backers placed their trust in the project, helping it successfully reach its crowdfunding goal.

But for us, JOAT was only the beginning.

After listening to feedback from the community and refining every detail, we set out to make it even better — introducing JOAT 2.0, the next evolution designed to be stronger, smarter, and even more capable for everyday carry.

One of its most exciting features is the integrated magnetic bit storage, a cleverly hidden compartment designed to hold two 4mm (1/6 in)  standard  S2 Steel Bits. The magnetic design keeps the bits secure while allowing quick and easy access whenever you need them.

Equipped with two 4mm (1/6 in) standard S2 Steel Bits, it handles a wide range of common screws, making everyday fixes smooth and effortless.

JOAT 2.0 includes a dedicated bit storage module designed to organize bits of different sizes. Using the same magnetic mounting system, the storage plate fits seamlessly into the modular structure, keeping your bits secure while remaining easy to access.

Sometimes outdoors, all you need is a simple measurement — yet the right tool is often nowhere to be found.

To solve this small but real problem, we designed a slim, detachable card ruler.
It’s perfect for measuring, drawing, or marking dimensions anytime, with simple, easy-to-use operation.
Lightweight and compact, it adds virtually no bulk while providing crucial functionality when you need it most.

Note: This card ruler is available as an add-on accessory. If you’d like to make JOAT 2.0 an even more complete tool system, you can include it in your pledge during the campaign.

For added convenience, the ruler is available in both Metric(11cm) and Imperial(4.3in)versions, and you’ll be able to select your preferred option in the post-campaign survey.

JOAT2.0 features 5 dedicated slots for 1.5*6mm tritium tubes, located on both sides of the top D-ring, as well as on the hex wrench and screwdriver modules.

Each slot can hold a tritium glow tube (sold separately), providing a continuous soft glow for up to 25 years.No batteries. No charging.

Five color options are available—green, purple, yellow, blue, and red— allowing you to personalize your tool and give it a truly distinctive look. Subtle, dependable, and always ready.

Note: For a more affordable option, we also offer crystal luminous vials as optional Add-ons. Unlike tritium tubes, they glow by absorbing and storing light—after being charged under a bright light source, they emit a soft glow in the dark for a period of time.

This makes them a cost-effective choice for users who don’t need a constant glow but still want better visibility in low-light conditions. The brightness and duration of the glow depend on the intensity and amount of light absorbed beforehand.

Before sandblasting, each part undergoes a stonewashed process to remove excess residues and soften the edges, ensuring a cleaner and more refined foundation.
