This journey started during a trip to Iceland in 2017 with one simple question from our founder, Wen Muenyi: "Why do shirts smell so fast and do they have to?"

Nobody had a real answer. 
That question turned into years of late nights, failed experiments, questionable-looking prototypes, and an obsession with understanding biology, odor, and textile engineering. 

Along the way, Wen built HercLéon from the ground up, appeared on Shark Tank with the brand, and created products now worn by thousands of people across nearly 100 countries.

Nearly a decade later, we've finally answered that original question.

HercShirt V5.0 is the result of that journey.
